Cyprus Market

I spotted this farmers market as we were on our way out of Nicosia for a visit to the mountain town of Omodos, Cyprus. I convinced my companions to wait while I made a quick run around the market and fell in love with this old woman selling her produce. On another outing, I spotted the McDonald's graffiti, and could not resist incorporating it in this collage. 

The experience made me think about the “Slow Food” Movement that began in Italy in 1986, and now boasts 100,000 members in over 1000 chapters worldwide. This collage incorporates several different photos, and I could not resist letting the cabbages hang in air with no visible means of support.
