Marble and Tile

I am not sure now exactly where this central photograph was taken in Istanbul, or what it is; at first I thought that it was a water font in front of a mosque, used for cleansing before entering. Now I am not so sure, and hesitate to hazard a guess. But whatever it is, I paired the image with fragments of several other photographs, including a manhole cover from an Istanbul street and a hotel window covered with vines.
