Leaving Taksim

On the morning of my last full day in Istanbul, I left the hotel at dawn, made my way through Taksim Square and began traversing the streets of Beyoglu. I walked for five or six hours and I am not sure where I was, but every street had its share of wonders. The streets of any city anywhere in the world are a relief from the monotony and homogeneity of suburban America, but the streets of Istanbul held particular delights. SOLD
