Istanbul 20

Istanbul Alley

As a child, the alleys were my favorite areas in all the Midwestern towns where my family lived. Alleys were like hidden paths where a child could experience the nitty-gritty aspects of life, unearth secrets and discover hidden treasures. I still feel a powerful intrigue with alleys, and an irresistible urge to enter these portals to the unknown. This particular alley in the Taksim area of Istanbul drew me in as easily as an alley in those South Dakota neighborhoods of my childhood, and I was not disappointed with my discovery.  SOLD
