Men's Worship

I saw very few men in traditional dress while I was in Istanbul. This man and his wife walked in to a mosque that my mother and I were exploring and at first he appeared to be there for the same reason we were. After they had admired the splendor of the building for a time however, they moved in opposite directions for their worship. I was fortunate that he chose a spot near a large window, so I had enough light for a good photograph. While none of the mosques we visited forbade photography, I was always careful not to be intrusive, and never used a flash.
