Potted Plants

All over Nicosia, people set out potted plants. The pots came in all different colors and sizes, but I was struck by these large terra cotta planters. I repeated the image several times and arranged them on the picture plane, beneath a rusty sign I found hanging on a wall in the old walled city of Nicosia. Fragments of the sign were added to balance the piece.
