Lamp Post

Two photographs were used to compose this collage. Both of the buildings were in the old walled city of Nicosia, where I spent many hours walking the streets. As I began composing this piece I was particularly intrigued by the design possibilities in repeating the form of the post, and using it to accentuate the strong vertical lines of the image.
